Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has felicitated with the Technical Administrative Head of the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES), Plateau State, Dr. Haggai Gutap, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, PhD, on Friday, Governor Mutfwang described Dr. Gutap as a “fountain of knowledge, prudent resource manager and committed rural transformer,” whose dedication to public service has contributed significantly to improving the lives of citizens, particularly those in rural communities.
The Governor acknowledged Dr. Gutap’s contributions to connecting communities, opening up rural areas and facilitating critical infrastructure that has improved access to urban centres while stimulating socio-economic activities.
He also commended his professionalism, diligence and strategic approach to the implementation of development interventions under the NG-CARES programme, noting that his commitment has helped ensure that resources are responsibly deployed to projects that directly benefit vulnerable households, small businesses, farmers and communities across the state.
Governor Mutfwang celebrated Dr. Gutap’s years of service and accomplishments, urging him to remain steadfast in upholding the values of excellence, integrity and service to humanity.
He expressed confidence that Dr. Gutap’s wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for development would continue to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Plateau State and the advancement of its people.
The Governor prayed God to grant Dr. Gutap continued good health, wisdom, strength and renewed grace as he begins another year of life.
He wished him many more years of fulfilment and impactful service, assuring him of the administration’s appreciation for his contributions to the development of Plateau State.
