The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Plateau Central Zone in the 2027 general elections, Chief David Barji Bitrus, has joined government officials, dignitaries, family members and other guests to celebrate the 60th birthday thanksgiving and prayer service of Mrs. Agnes Jibrin Watle, wife of the Chief Protocol Officer to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Hon. Chief Jibrin Watle.
According to a statement signed by Emmanuel Macham JP, Coordinator of the Chief David Barji Campaign Organisation, Bokkos Chapter, the celebration began with a thanksgiving service at COCIN Church Beh before proceeding to a grand reception at Jong Grand, Jos.
The statement said the reception was marked by an atmosphere of joy, music and dancing, as guests joined the celebrant in commemorating her 60th birthday.
Macham said Chief Barji, while conveying his birthday wishes to Mrs. Watle, described her marriage to her husband as “unique and exemplary.”
He added that the APC senatorial candidate wished the celebrant long life, prosperity, sound health, divine favour and wisdom as she begins another decade of her life.
According to the statement, Chief Barji also commended Mrs. Watle for what he described as her commitment to supporting widows, orphans and other less privileged members of society.
He further acknowledged her contributions to promoting peace, love and community development, while celebrating her role within her family and community.
The statement described the occasion as an opportunity for family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate Mrs. Watle’s life, service and contributions to society.
