The APC Senatorial Candidate for Plateau Central in the 2027 general elections, Chief Hon. David Bitrus Barji Kasuwa, has paid a condolence visit to former Senator Simon Mwadkwon following the death of his younger brother.
Barji, who was accompanied by the APC candidate for Pankshin State Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotshak Gideon Yokden, visited the Mwadkwon family on Tuesday to sympathise with them over the loss.
Speaking during the visit, Barji expressed his condolences to Mwadkwon and members of his family, describing the death as a painful loss to the family and the wider community.
He prayed God to comfort the bereaved family, grant them the strength to bear the loss and give the deceased eternal rest.
Responding, Mwadkwon thanked Barji and Yokden for identifying with his family at a difficult time.
The former senator said the visit demonstrated that humanity should take precedence over political differences, adding that their presence and show of support meant a lot to the family.
He prayed God to reward them for their gesture and grant them journey mercies as they continued to serve the people of Plateau State.
