A delegation from Langtang North and South Federal Constituency, alongside female aspirants who contested the just-concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, has paid a congratulatory visit to the Director General of the APC Mutfwang/Piyo Campaign Council in Plateau State, Sir Joseph N. Ari, KSM, KSS.
The delegation, which visited Sir Joseph Ari at his residence in Jos on Friday, was led by Hon. Beni Lar, APC House of Representatives Flag Bearer for Langtang North and South Federal Constituency.
Also in the delegation were female aspirants from various Local Government Areas, a serving member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, a former Local Government Chairman, and other party stakeholders.
Congratulating Sir Joseph Ari on his appointment as Director General of the campaign council, Hon. Beni Lar commended his contributions to the development of Plateau State, particularly his achievements during his tenure as Director General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
She said the delegation was at the residence to identify with the campaign DG and demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
Hon. Lar further assured Sir Joseph Ari of their readiness to work with him and other party stakeholders towards the success of the APC, stressing that their collective target is 5/5.
Responding, Sir Joseph Ari thanked the delegation for the visit and expressed appreciation for their show of solidarity.
He assured the visitors that the campaign council would conduct its activities without acrimony, calumny, blackmail or other negative tendencies.
According to him, the campaign would be people-centred, issues-based, facts-based and values-based, with a focus on earning the trust and goodwill of the people.
Sir Joseph Ari described the campaign as a Plateau project, calling on stakeholders and party members across the state to join hands and work collectively towards achieving the party’s objectives.
He reiterated that the campaign council would prioritise constructive engagement and a campaign approach centred on issues affecting the people.
