As Nigerians commemorate Democracy Day on June 12, 2026, the APC Senatorial Aspirant for Plateau Central, Hon. David Barji, has joined millions of citizens across the country in celebrating the nation’s democratic journey and the enduring values of freedom, justice, unity, and good governance.
Hon. Barji noted that Democracy Day remains a significant reminder of the sacrifices made by patriotic Nigerians who fought tirelessly to ensure that democratic rule prevails in the country. He described June 12 as a symbol of the resilience of the Nigerian people and their unwavering commitment to building a nation founded on the principles of participation, accountability, and the rule of law.
The APC stalwart congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, advancing economic reforms, and fostering national development. According to him, the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda continues to provide a framework for sustainable growth and national transformation.
He also extended warm congratulations to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, describing his emergence as a source of pride to Plateau State and a testament to the confidence reposed in his leadership capacity.
