The APC Candidate for Plateau Central Senatorial District in the 2027 General Elections and Leader of the Face of Hope Movement, Chief Hon. David Bitrus Barji Kasuwa, has felicitated with teachers across Plateau Central and beyond on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day.
Chief Barji, in a goodwill message, joined families and communities in celebrating teachers, describing them as men and women who have devoted their lives to shaping minds and building the future, one child at a time.
He expressed appreciation to every teacher in Plateau Central for their sacrifices and commitment to educating and nurturing the next generation.
“Your work may not always make the headlines, but its impact lives on in every educated and responsible citizen who passed through your classroom.»
“Behind every child who succeeds is a teacher who believed, encouraged, corrected and refused to give up.”
Chief Barji stressed that teaching goes beyond being a profession, describing it as “a service to humanity and an investment in generations yet unborn.”
He called for greater attention to the welfare and working conditions of teachers, noting that educators deserve better classrooms, stronger institutional support and improved welfare.
According to him, the sacrifices of teachers must be recognised and their voices heard, particularly those who continue to give hope to children despite difficult circumstances.
«“You are not just teaching students; you are shaping the future of Plateau Central.»
“I celebrate you. I appreciate you. I salute you.”
Chief Barji prayed for God’s continued strength and blessings upon teachers, while wishing them a happy and fulfilling World Teachers’ Day.
Happy World Teachers’ Day!
