JOS — APC Senatorial Flag Bearer for Plateau Central in the 2027 General Elections, Chief Hon. David Barji, has congratulated the Chief Medical Director of the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), Dr. Pokop Wushipba Bubpwatda, on his reappointment for a second tenure by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Barji described the reappointment as a testament to the confidence President Tinubu has in Dr. Bubpwatda’s leadership, competence and contributions to the development of JUTH and healthcare delivery in Plateau State and Nigeria.
He commended the President for renewing the mandate, noting that Dr. Bubpwatda’s first tenure was marked by dedication, professionalism and efforts to improve healthcare services at the tertiary institution.
According to Barji, the second tenure presents an opportunity for the JUTH CMD to consolidate existing achievements and do more for the institution, its workforce and patients.
He expressed confidence that Dr. Bubpwatda would continue to provide purposeful and effective leadership while advancing the quality of healthcare services at JUTH.
“On behalf of my family, supporters and well-wishers, I wish you renewed strength, wisdom, good health and God’s guidance as you continue in this important responsibility,” Barji said.
He further wished the JUTH CMD greater achievements in his second tenure and urged him to continue making a lasting impact on healthcare delivery in Plateau State.
