The Director-General of the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Campaign Council, Sir Joseph Ntung Ari, KSM, has paid a courtesy visit to former Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Chief Joshua Chibi Dariye, seeking his blessing, fatherly counsel and support ahead of the 2027 elections.
Sir Joseph Ari, who visited the former Governor at his residence, described Chief Dariye as a key pillar and mentor in his political journey and growth, noting that the visit was his first point of call because of the significant role the former Governor has played in shaping his political trajectory and commitment to the development of Plateau State.
Speaking during the visit, Ari expressed appreciation for the guidance and support he had received from Chief Dariye over the years, stressing the importance of drawing from the experience of respected statesmen as the campaign council begins preparations for the 2027 elections.
Responding, Chief Dariye pledged his support to Sir Joseph Ari and the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Campaign Council.
The former Governor commended Ari for his character, integrity and track record of service, while urging him to remain steadfast, accountable and transparent in the discharge of his responsibilities.
Dariye further advised the Director-General to surround himself with the right people and build a formidable and united team capable of mobilising support across the state.
“Everyone is important in this project. Victory in 2027 will be won one vote at a time,” he stated.
Chief Dariye thanked Sir Joseph Ari for the visit and prayed for his success, the success of the campaign council, and the continued progress, peace and prosperity of Plateau State under the leadership of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.
