PANKSHIN — The Federal University of Education Pankshin (FUEP) has commissioned 40 electric tricycles as part of efforts to improve mobility within the institution, reduce transportation costs and promote environmentally friendly transportation.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Noel Wannang, stated this during the commissioning of the electric tricycles deployed to the institution in collaboration with House of Destiny Global Services, a non-governmental organisation.
Professor Wannang described the initiative as a practical response to some of the mobility challenges facing the University community, noting that the tricycles would help save time and money while contributing to a cleaner environment.
He said the development also reflects the University’s commitment to transforming ideas into practical solutions that positively impact lives.
