The APC Senatorial Candidate for Plateau Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections, Chief Hon. David Bitrus Barji Kasuwa, has joined stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Pankshin Local Government Area on a congratulatory visit to the Director-General of the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Campaign Council, Sir Joseph Ntung Ari, in Jos.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of Pankshin Local Government Council, Hon. Amos Felix Gonung, and included Senator Diket Plang and other prominent political stakeholders from the local government.
The stakeholders congratulated Sir Joseph Ari on his appointment as Director-General of the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Campaign Council, describing the appointment as well-deserved.
They described Ari as a problem-solver and grounded administrator, while expressing confidence in his ability to coordinate the campaign and engage stakeholders across the state.
The delegation also pledged its support to the Campaign Director-General and assured him that Pankshin stakeholders would work together to mobilise bloc votes towards the campaign’s objectives in 2027.
Responding, Sir Joseph Ari thanked the delegation for the visit, noting that the engagement provided an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and members of the political family dating back to the 1998/99 era.
Ari said the campaign under his leadership would be issue-based and conducted without acrimony, calumny or blackmail.
According to him, the focus would be on communicating the achievements of the administration and presenting its agenda to the people.
The Campaign Director-General also called for unity among stakeholders, urging them to work as one front towards the 2027 elections.
He described the campaign as a Plateau project and called on stakeholders to work collectively towards the 5/5 objective.
The visit comes amid a series of congratulatory and solidarity engagements following Ari’s appointment as Director-General of the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Campaign Council.
