Plateau Central APC Senatorial Candidate, Chief Hon. David Barji, has expressed condolences to Hon. Ishaya David Lalu and Hon. Luka Makut over the deaths of their close family members.
Barji visited Mangu to sympathise with Hon. Ishaya David Lalu, Member representing Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and APC candidate for the constituency, following the death of his elder brother, Mr. Gayus David Lalu.
He later proceeded to Bokkos to condole with Hon. Luka Makut, APC candidate for Bokkos State Constituency, and his family over the passing of his father, Dah Makut Mahhannan Bwoi.
During the visits, Barji shared in the grief of the bereaved families and prayed for God’s comfort, strength and fortitude for them and all those mourning the deceased.
Back in Jos, Barji joined Ngas students of Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, at their Annual Cultural Day held at the institution’s Jos campus.
The APC candidate celebrated the cultural heritage of the Ngas people with the students and encouraged them to remain focused on their education and future goals.
He assured the students of his continued support, adding that, if elected Senator in 2027, he would champion policies and initiatives focused on education, youth development and expanding opportunities for young people.
The day’s engagements, according to his media team, underscored Barji’s approach to leadership, combining compassion for people in times of grief with support for the aspirations of young people.
Barji was accompanied by friends and well-wishers.
