DENGI, Plateau State — Women’s groups in Dengi town and across Kanam Local Government Area have reaffirmed their support for Chief Hon. David Bitrus Barji Kasuwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Plateau Central in the 2027 general elections, alongside other APC candidates.

The reaffirmation followed an engagement between the Barji Campaign Coordinator in Kanam, Hon. Muhammad Hadi Garba, and the Dengi APC Chairman, Hon. Yusuf Doki, with the Ung Galadima women’s group.

The meeting provided an opportunity for discussions on the political aspirations of the APC and the women’s participation in the party’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the engagement, the women expressed their readiness to work towards the success of all APC candidates, from the presidential and governorship candidates to those contesting for the Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly.

Their declaration underscores the campaign’s ongoing engagement with grassroots groups in Kanam Local Government Area as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
