The APC flag bearer for Plateau Central Senatorial District, Chief Hon. David Barji, has expressed gratitude to God and supporters following his emergence, describing the victory as a collective achievement for the people of Plateau Central.
In an appreciation message, Barji said the mandate was not a personal victory but one belonging to all citizens who believed in the vision for a better Plateau Central.
He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party leadership, and stakeholders for creating what he described as a fair and democratic process.
Barji also appreciated the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for their leadership and commitment to inclusiveness.
He commended fellow aspirants for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the process, stressing that there would be “no victor and no vanquished,” while calling for unity and collective progress.
The APC standard bearer further acknowledged party leaders, elders, women, youths, students, persons with disabilities, support groups, and members of the Face of Hope Campaign Team, including the Barji Media Centre, for their sacrifices and dedication.
He assured the people of Plateau Central of quality representation, purposeful leadership, and strong advocacy at the National Assembly if elected.
“The journey ahead is a collective mission. Together, we are more than conquerors. Rejoice Plateau Central, hope has come,” Barji stated.
