Watford legend, Troy Deeney has insisted that Chelsea’s summer signing, Joao Pedro will bring intensity to the Blues.
Chelsea signed Pedro, 23, recently from Premier League club Brighton for £60m.
The Brazilian attacker netted 10 English Premier League goals for Brighton last season.
Speaking about Pedro, Deeney told talkSPORT: “He’ll bring intensity [to Chelsea squad].
“That’s what Joao [Pedro] will bring. He’s obviously an exceptional football player.
“We were just talking about the social media clips Chelsea have put up on training and he is throwing his weight around already.”
Pedro featured in Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Palmeiras in the Club World Cup in the early hours of Saturday.
