…Donates 3 cows to corps members
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General YD Ahmed paid a memorable visit to the NYSC Orientation Camp in Yobe State today, reiterating the Federal Government’s increment of corps members’ monthly allowance from N33,000 to N77,000.
The DG also donated three cows to the corps members while sharing with them words of wisdom that inspired the corpers.
During his address, the NYSC DG encouraged corps members to engage in community development, adapt to local cultures, and take advantage of opportunities for skill enhancement and entrepreneurship.
The visit was marked by a special gift of three cows to be shared among the platoons and a declaration of a one-day free time for the corps members.
