It hasn’t been your typical, everyday, everyday year at the movies thus far. Release dates have continued to change, with more than one major release moving to the more secure surroundings of 2023. The slate of major new releases is still a little (okay, a lot) thinner than typical. Even still, the aftermath of Covid hasn’t prevented it from being a frequently entertaining and occasionally exhilarating six months so far.
