Hon. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs & Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, officially flagged off the Federal Government’s Skills-to-Wealth (S2W) training programme on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Cappa, Oshodi, Lagos.
The initiative is designed to empower Nigerian youths with practical skills in Agriculture, Renewable Energy, and Automobile Maintenance across all six geo-political zones.
By equipping young Nigerians with market-ready skills, the S2W programme directly boosts job creation, reduces youth unemployment, and promotes small-scale enterprise growth. This hands-on approach to empowerment not only uplifts communities but also strengthens the national economy through increased productivity and innovation.
The Minister commended CIG Motors for their technical support in Automobile Maintenance, ensuring trainees gain relevant industry knowledge.
