The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, and Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council’s Director General has won his polling unit with 250 votes against 44 for All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s presidential election.
Tambuwal, also the Sokoto South senatorial candidate on the PDP platform, scored 252 votes against APC’s 44 votes at the Government Girls Day Secondary school Tambuwal polling unit.
For the Federal House of Representatives results, PDP scored 247 against 45 for APC in the polling unit.
According to the results obtained by our correspondent, PDP scored a total of 749 votes against 147 for APC in presidential and National Assembly elections at the polling unit.
Meanwhile, both the Labour Party and the New Nigerian Peoples Party have zero votes respectively in the presidential election
