The Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda-led State Executive Council has resolved to convert the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management into Information Communication Technology University.
This was disclosed in a tweet by the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, Isah Miqdad, on Thursday.
The tweet read, “The Katsina State Executive Council under the leadership of Malam Dikko Umaru during its 9th regular meeting has resolved to convert the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management into Information Communication Technology University.
“This is in line with the vision of Governor Radda to create an enabling environment for investment in technology and digital literacy.”
The governor’s aide stated that a committee of five was inaugurated by the Governor to “realise this important project.”
