Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes has urged midfielder Declan Rice to take less touches on the ball amid the ongoing Euro 2024.
Scholes spoke ahead of England’s Round of 16 clash with Slovakia on Sunday.
In a post on his Instagram story, the former England international said:
“Mainoo will make you play, Foden and Bellingham will win you games, think forward and take less touches please Dec. Laters [kissing emoji].”
Recall that England progressed to the Euro 2024 last-16 as Group C winners despite collecting only five points from three games.
