In the 2024 ranking of the Henley Passport Index, Nigeria has claimed the 95th spot among the world’s passports, lagging behind countries like Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Morocco, Benin Republic, and Namibia.
While Nigeria holds its position in the lower tier, the Henley Passport Index, renowned for assessing passport power globally, showcases approximately 47 countries where Nigerians can travel to without worrying about obtaining a visa.
The rankings are meticulously updated by Henley & Partners, drawing on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), a trusted source in the realm of travel information.
