Nigeria’s Victor Boniface makes goals as he takes them and has added winning awards to that at Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface has once again proven his prowess on the pitch after he secured his third consecutive Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award.
Boniface saw competition from two other players to emerge winner of the award for October to complete his hattrick.

The 22-year-old after a blistering start to life at Bayer Leverkusen was named the Rookie and Player of the Month for August before he lifted the Rookie of the Month for September.
His latest award comes after an impressive October for his club, Leverkusen, who are looking good at the top of the Bundesliga table.
The Nigerian international netted on matchday 7, in the month in review, against Cologne, and assisted another for Bayer against Wolfsburg.
His contributions took his tally to 10 goal contributions before matchday 10, making his the most prolific contributor for Xavi Alonso’s Die Werkself.
According to the Bundesliga website, the former Union SG star had a league-high 15 attempts on goal in October, which took his total to 54 so far on the season, ahead of top scorer Harry Kane’s 36.
Boniface, Mr Rookie
Following his latest win, fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts and feelings about Boniface’s win.
Some of them have fondly referred to him as ‘Mr Rookie’ following his dominance of the Bundesliga award.
For his third award, Boniface saw off strong competition from Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig and Brajan Gruda of Mainz for the win.
In his first 10 matches for Bayer, the Nigerian international has scored seven goals and assisted five more for his teammates.
