Manchester City legend, Sergio Aguero has revealed that he got Paris Saint-Germain forward Argentina Lionel Messi angry during their celebrations after winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Argentina won the World Cup again in 2022 after 36 years after a memorable 4-2 penalty shootout win over France.
Aguero was with the Argentina national team throughout the tournament and as the team celebrated.
The former Manchester City star explained how he made Messi angry by neglecting his health during the celebrations.
Aguero said he was drinking during the festivities
He told Roy Nemer,
“I drank a lot but I didn’t eat. We were world champions. If something were to happen to me, let it be there.
“Leo [Messi] got angry and told me ‘stop’. How [do I] stop? We are world champions, so happy.”
