According to the World Population Review, Iran is the oldest nation in the world based on the date of the earliest known evidence of an organized government.

8. Georgia (1300 BC)

Despite numerous invasions, Georgia has preserved its distinct cultural and national identity.

9. Israel (1300 BC)

10. Sudan (1070 BC)

Sudan, dating back to 1070 BC, was home to the powerful Kingdom of Kush, known for its pyramids and influence along the Nile. Sudan’s deep-rooted cultural and historical significance remains essential to the continent’s heritage.
