I Think Hamas Want to Play Tough Guy, But We'll See How Tough They're on Saturday-Benjamin Natanyahu

In a recent video on Sky Tv Australia, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stern ultimatum to Hamas, declaring that if the militant group does not release Israeli hostages by noon on Saturday, the current ceasefire will be terminated, and Israel will resume “intense fighting” in Gaza. This announcement follows a unanimous decision by Israel’s security cabinet.

Netanyahu’s warning comes amid escalating tensions, as Hamas has accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement by not allowing sufficient humanitarian aid into Gaza. In response, Hamas has delayed the release of additional hostages, citing these alleged breaches.

Netanyahu has echoed Trump’s demands, stating that if all hostages are not released by the specified deadline, “all bets are off,” and severe consequences will follow. Trump has also proposed relocating Gaza’s population to neighboring countries, a plan that has been met with strong opposition from Arab nations and has been described by critics as a form of ethnic cleansing.

According to him, “I have a Saturday deadline, and I don’t think they’re going to make the deadline. Personally, I think they want to play tough guy, but we’ll see how tough they are. They either have them out by Saturday at 12:00, or all bets are off.”

The ceasefire, which began on January 19, was intended to last 42 days and included provisions for the gradual release of hostages by Hamas in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. However, the recent halt in hostage releases and mutual accusations of ceasefire violations have put the agreement in jeopardy.
