The Spanish La Liga continued today as Barcelona welcomed Las Palmas to the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys as they look to maintain their winning run following a 3-0 victory against Brest in their last match.
The host went into the game as favourites, but was unable to provide an opening goal within the first 45 minutes of the match despite having several chances to take the lead.
To most people’s surprise, Las Palmas were the one who ended opening the score sheet thanks to a goal by Ramirez at the 49th minute. This lead was eventually canceled as Raphinha put the ball in the back of the net to make the game level.
Six minutes later, Silva regained the lead for the away team which ended up being the winning goal as the game ended 1-2 with the away team taking the lead.
Meanwhile, here is how the league’s table looks like following this result.
