Amidst the reignited beef between the two biggest Nigerian Afrobeat stars, an old video of Davido revealing his reason for hanging out with Wizkid resurfaces.
It would be recalled that some weeks ago, Wizkid went on a ranting spree where he lambasted his colleague, Davido, calling his names and belittling his family.
Amid the divided opinions from fans, an old video of David Adeleke recounting how linked up with Wizkid for his Timeless album in 2023.
According to the billionaire singer, he met with his counterpart to signal his fans and his of their friendship, to avoid negative reviews after his album release.
“I called this guy, I said look, my album is coming out Thursday 12 a.m., leave Wizkid fans, don’t fight anybody. I was with Wizkid a couple of days ago, we didn’t fight. I want my album to come out clean. Tell me why they started fighting; my album leaked two days before the release date. We can’t control it; they don’t hear,” he stated.
