Nigerian famous singer, Adekunle Gold has taken to his social media to send a message to men following the death of FUNAAB student, Idowu Christianah.
We previously reported that on August 19, 2024, Idowu Christianah went missing after her abductors used her WhatsApp account to contact her parents, sending photos of her in captivity and demanding a ₦1.5 million ransom. However, after several pleas, they accepted N350,000, which was sent to their account, yet she was not released and killed instead.
It was later revealed that Adeleye Ayomide, an undergraduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), had abducted and murdered Christianah, and then buried her on his property.
Additional reports suggest that Ayomide may have been involved in the deaths of his ex-girlfriend in 2018 and his sister in 2020 under similar circumstances.
Following the death of this young lady, Adekunle Gold dropped a message to men on his X account. He wrote:
“Men, true strength is not about staying silent but about standing up to your friends who abuse, rape, or demean women. Let’s redefine masculinity by holding each other accountable.
JusticeforChristianah”.
