Real Madrid have released a behind-the-scenes video of Kylian Mbappe’s first day as a Real Madrid player, which included him meeting some of his new teammates. Lucas Vazquez, Brahim Diaz, Thibaut Courtois and David Alaba all had encounters with the 25-year-old, who will officially link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad later in the summer.
During Mbappe’s first encounter with Brahim, the Moroccan attacker surprised him with a question about whether he has any children. Mbappe was visibly caught off-guard, and he admitted that it’s not something he’s considering at this stage of his life.
“No, nothing at the moment. (I’ll take things) step by step.”
It’s commendable that Kylian spoke with everyone in Spanish. He certainly meant it when he stated that he’s been preparing for the move to Real Madrid for many years of his life. He should certainly fit right in when he does join the first team squad in the coming weeks, which will please Ancelotti and Florentino Perez.
