Nigerian businessman and CEO of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has held a meeting with cryptocurrency investor Linus Williams Ifejika, also known as BLord, for business purposes.
The two entrepreneurs met after BLord turned down a $10 million investment offer from foreign investors for his latest innovation, the BillPoint app.
According to Ifejika, the meeting with Cubana focused on tech-related matters pertaining to the banking sector.
He shared a photo of the two businessmen after the meeting, declaring that they were going to take over the Nigerian banking system.
Days before the meeting, BLord had announced that he turned down the $10 million offer because he believed the app would generate much more profit than the amount offered in just a few years.
The B-Lord Group founder is known for his expertise in cryptocurrency investments and has been making waves in the tech industry with his latest innovation.
Cubana, on the other hand, is a well-known entrepreneur in the Nigerian hospitality industry.
He is the owner of popular nightclubs and lounges across the country, including the famous Cubana Nightclub in Owerri, Imo State.
He has also recently diversified his business interests to include real estate and other investments.
